The Sacramento Region has historically ranked as one of the most polluted metropolitan areas in the country. The good news is that the air in our region is improving thanks to the many businesses, individuals, agencies and organizations that go above and beyond to make the Sacramento Region a better place to live and breathe.

2009 will mark the 33rd year that Breathe California of Sacramento-Emigrant Trails and its community sponsors will recognize Clean Air Champions for their outstanding efforts to clean our air.
